Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate and captain of the Fierce Five in 2012 in addition to the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics which took place in London. Additionally, she brought her bronze on balance beam. In 2012, she became the very first American athlete to achieve the most number of medals during the Olympics. The gold medal she won in the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold for the United States team. This made her, together with her fellow teammate Gabby - the first Americans to accomplish this feat. Her silver medals came in the floor-based individual and all-around event. She took a break of three years between the two Olympics from competing gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal winning American team at 2 World Championships. Aly began gymnastics lessons at the age of 2 and enjoys the floor workout. Aly has enrolled in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandma. She hopes to become an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden her line of leotards and socks in the very near future. Fierce - a novel she is writing will come out this year.
