 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist Her parents were Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actor after she immigrated to the United States. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 until 2016 - and then in 2020 - have made her famous. The commercials she appeared in were not the only thing she appeared in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played an actor in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her role in the pilot television series called New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents, who were at the age of two, came to America to escape antisemitism. They moved to West Hollywood. At five years of age she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the economic hardships in her family. Vayntrub went to Beverly Hills High School briefly, but she was kicked out of the school in her second year. She later obtained an GED and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
